We attended the Truro Cathedral Craft Fair on Saturday 6th November, along with 40-odd other crafty people and their stands. This was our first outing with our new look setup –having invested in a proper, non-wobbly portable exhibition table to try to end the heart-stopping shaky moments– and we’re glad to say it all worked nicely. We certainly fitted a wide variety of our handmade wares on it!

With the venue organisers keeping things under control for Covid safety, the stream of visitors queued to enter the cathedral, and continued to come steadily in all through the day.
And what a place to be set up in – beats a draughty marquee in a muddy field!

We still find it so exciting, and pinch ourselves to think that we’ve started to go to these fairs as exhibitors now, and we’ve organised ourselves into successfully selling our crafted items. It’s a long way from the humble beginnings of going to a few novice pottery classes and making assorted wobbly clay messes for the first time, just a few short years ago!

Our next fair to set up at is at The Cornish Winter Fair at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre, Wadebridge on Saturday, 20th November. Entry and parking is all free, and there’s local food and drink to enjoy as well as the craft… so it’s not all cows and sheep!
Perhaps we’ll see you there!
